PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to sit; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with
hands and arms; and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to stand
and walk. The employee must frequently lift
and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, depth perception,
and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable
accommodations may be made to enable
individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
80% of time spent in comfortable environment
with little or no perceived accident hazard.
Responsible for own safety.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Answering telephones, filing, Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access,
Microsoft Outlook, Nextel phones, and
Activant sofware.
Proficiency or experience in mechanical,
technical, interpersonal skills. AA level, 2
years experience in unique organizational
requirements or specialized training.
RESPONSIBILITY / IMPACT ON COMPANY RESULTS
Works under regular supervision dealing with
situations which require decisions about
information against measurable criteria and
are usually reviewed / approved. Errors
would cause a waste of resources and
moderate loss of time.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None
MENTAL PROCESSING / COMPLEXITY
Occasionally requires modest amounts of
mental energy. Information is used without
changing its basic content. Decisions
regarding what needs to be done depend on
source of information or the kind of
transaction or task. (Rearranges
information.)
INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION
Ongoing routine contact with customers and
employees from other divisions and contact
centers around basic work functions and
attention to basic requests.
ROLE OF COMMUNICATION
Interviews to understand information.
(Examples: Receptionist, driver, laborer.)
